San Francisco 49ers weigh trade for Raiders pass‑rusher Maxx Crosby
Analysts are linking the San Francisco 49ers with a possible acquisition of Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby. The rumor package includes a 2027 first‑round pick, a 2028 second‑round pick and the 2025 first‑round selection of former 49ers first‑round pick Mykel Williams. The proposal follows the Raiders’ earlier failed trade to the Baltimore Ravens, which fell apart after Crosby did not pass a physical.
Crosby has said he is happy to remain in Las Vegas, having withdrawn a trade request, but the 49ers are looking to bolster a pass rush that has been pressured after the Myles Garrett trade to the Los Angeles Rams. The Raiders, in a rebuilding phase, could gain valuable draft capital while potentially acquiring a replacement for Crosby.
