San Francisco 49ers work out veteran running backs
The San Francisco 49ers are evaluating veteran running backs to address growing injury concerns within their backfield. During practice on Monday, the team held workouts for Nyheim Miller-Hines and Zamir White, while also hosting Blake Watson for a visit.
The roster moves come as the team manages multiple injuries, including the absence of Christian McCaffrey. Currently, five players on the 49ers' eight-man running back depth chart carry injury designations.
Nyheim Miller-Hines, a veteran with six seasons in the NFL, previously played for the Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, and New Orleans Saints. Zamir White joins the workout pool after spending four seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders.
