In a separate technological context at SUMMIT 2026, cybersecurity expert Ana Cecilia Pérez, founder of Capa 8, warned that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are primary targets for cyberattacks. Pérez emphasized that the human factor is the most critical vulnerability and noted that many SMEs remain unaware of active intrusions due to a lack of monitoring tools and security controls.
