San Francisco de Macorís to host Duartiano Cultural Festival

The Unión Cultural de la Provincia Duarte has announced the Duartiano Cultural Festival, titled “Un Encuentro con Nosotros,” to be held in San Francisco de Macorís. Scheduled for September 18, 19, and 20, 2026, the event aims to promote Dominican identity, national values, and cultural development.

The festival will primarily take place at the UASD Recinto San Francisco de Macorís. The program includes various cultural expressions such as folk dance, typical music, gastronomy, and arts. Opening activities on September 18 will feature performances by the UCNE Ballet, the UCNE Choir, and the Monseñor Francisco Panal Arts High School orchestra, with Los Paleros scheduled to perform later that evening.
