San Francisco del Rincón mayor reports debt reduction and infrastructure investment

Alejandro Antonio Marún González, the mayor of San Francisco del Rincón, presented his second government report, highlighting significant reductions in municipal debt and increased public investment.

Marún reported that municipal debt was reduced from 19.5 million pesos at the start of his administration to 4.3 million pesos, without incurring new debt. He also noted an investment exceeding 780 million pesos in public works over a five-year period, covering both urban and rural areas. Key projects include the Santa Cecilia Municipal Cemetery, Francisco Villa Boulevard, and various hydraulic infrastructure improvements, such as 29 kilometers of sanitary drainage and 36 kilometers of potable water networks.

In terms of social programs, the administration reported 4,881 educational supports and an accumulated investment of 10.6 million pesos in scholarships. Additionally, 40 million pesos were invested in housing, benefiting over 6,000 homes, and 2 million pesos were allocated to health services.
