San Francisco Giants dominate Mariners 7-0 after All-Star break

The San Francisco Giants opened the second half of the 2026 season with a 7‑0 victory over the Seattle Mariners at T‑Mobile Park. Willy Adames delivered his seventh career grand slam in the seventh inning, while Bryce Eldridge contributed a two‑run homer in the fifth. Landen Roupp threw seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits and walking three batters.

The win marked the Giants' third consecutive win and tied their season‑long longest streak. Seattle managed only two hits, with a costly error by second baseman Cole Young that helped extend the lead. Both teams dealt with injuries; the Mariners were without Julio Rodríguez, and the Giants were missing several regulars on the injured list. The series continues with the Mariners starting Bryce Miller and the Giants scheduled to send Logan Webb for the next game.
