San Francisco highlights diverse venues for meetings and tourism

San Francisco continues to position itself as a versatile destination for both large-scale conventions and intimate executive retreats. The city offers a wide range of venues, from the Moscone Center, which anchors a walkable district with over 19,000 nearby hotel rooms, to luxury options like The St. Regis San Francisco in the SoMa neighborhood.

Historic sites also serve as unique accommodations and gathering spaces. The Lodge at the Presidio, a 42-room boutique hotel located within a 1,491-acre national park, occupies a late-19th-century military barracks. The site has a layered history, having served as a Spanish military outpost, a Mexican installation, and a U.S. Army post that housed various regiments during the Spanish-American War and World War II.
