San Francisco hosts Fleet Week with Blue Angels aerial displays

San Francisco is hosting Fleet Week from October 9–11, 2026, featuring various military celebrations and aerial displays. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are scheduled to perform stunts in Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft over the San Francisco Bay, specifically between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

The event includes a Parade of Ships, ship tours, and a festival at Fisherman’s Wharf with live music and culinary offerings. Other scheduled activities include a “K9 Heroes” show and a fallen heroes memorial concert.

The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a notice to mariners regarding regulated areas to ensure safety. Traffic will be restricted in much of the Central San Francisco Bay, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, to accommodate the Navy Parade of Ships. Coast Guard and law enforcement vessels will be patrolling these zones.
