San Francisco hosts major music festivals

San Francisco hosted major musical celebrations, including the Fillmore Jazz Festival and the Outside Lands festival.

The Fillmore Jazz Festival, the largest free jazz event in the United States, continues its tradition in the Fillmore District. Spanning 12 blocks over the Fourth of July weekend, the festival honors the neighborhood’s history as the ‘Harlem of the West.’ The event is produced by the Fillmore Jazz Festival Preservation Fund and supported by the Fillmore Merchants Association.

Meanwhile, the Outside Lands festival featured a diverse lineup in San Francisco. Performances included Charli XCX, Labrinth, and Glorilla, alongside sets from Joe Keery’s band, Empire of the Sun, and Rufus Du Sol. The festival drew significant crowds and featured a mix of musical genres and high-energy stage productions.
