San Francisco ranked third in America’s best foodie cities

San Francisco has been ranked as the third best city for foodies in the United States according to a study by WalletHub. The report evaluated over 180 cities based on affordability and diversity, accessibility, and quality.

San Francisco earned high marks for its number of restaurants per capita and its selection of affordable highly-rated dining options. The city also features 25 Michelin-starred restaurants and leads the nation in the per capita number of craft breweries, international grocery stores, and herb and spice stores. It ranked sixth nationally for restaurant diversity and fourth for access to healthy food.

Miami secured the top position in the rankings, noted for its extremely high number of restaurants per capita and availability of affordable, high-quality dining options.
