Italy reports multiple fatal and serious road accidents

Several serious road accidents have been reported across various Italian regions.

In Forio, Ischia, three teenagers—two aged 18 and one aged 17—were injured after a stolen Fiat 500 plunged off a cliff on via Giovanni Mazzella. The vehicle was reportedly taken after the owner left it with the keys in the ignition. Two of the youths were transferred to hospitals in Naples under reserved prognosis, while the 17-year-old remains under observation in Lacco Ameno. Carabinieri are investigating whether the incident was a theft or a reckless prank.

In the Turin area, a 61-year-old motorcyclist died after losing control of his Honda CBR on a bridge on the SP 217 near Montalenghe. Emergency services were unable to revive him.

Additionally, a serious crash occurred in Montefiascone on the Ombrone road, where a car struck trees, leaving two people seriously injured. In Nove, a young woman survived after her Ford Puma overturned and slid along the asphalt on via Santa Romana.

In a separate matter, technical investigations are ongoing regarding a Mercedes involving Pamela Genini, where a mechanic suggested the brake hydraulic pipe may have been intentionally tampered with.
