San Giovanni Rotondo hosts International Fencing Camp

The International Fencing Camp Gargano has returned to San Giovanni Rotondo, hosting the Italian Paralympic Fencing National Team for an international training retreat starting August 24. Supported by BCC San Giovanni Rotondo, the event focuses on competitive preparation, social inclusion, and regional promotion.

Key scheduled activities include a press conference with Paralympic athlete Andrea Jacquier on Friday, August 28, at 18:00 in Piazza dei Martiri, followed by an integrated team competition at 19:00 where Olympic and Paralympic athletes compete together on the same strip. On Saturday, August 29, the event moves to the Luigi Di Maggio Institute, offering open training sessions and opportunities for the public to try fencing starting at 18:00.
