San Giuliano Terme restores nighttime medical services

The nighttime medical continuity service, formerly known as the guardia medica, will resume operations at the Casa della Comunità in San Giuliano Terme starting Friday, November 6.

The Azienda USL Toscana nord ovest announced the restoration following a temporary suspension caused by a water leak that rendered the original premises unusable. After initial repair attempts failed to resolve the issue, the health agency reorganized the facility by repurposing specific rooms to accommodate the service.

During the suspension, nighttime medical coverage was provided by a nearby facility in Pisa, where staff from San Giuliano Terme were temporarily reassigned. Daytime services and weekend coverage remained operational throughout the disruption.
