San Giuliano Terme water network renewal continues in Gello

Infrastructure renewal projects are underway in Gello, San Giuliano Terme, to modernize the local water network. Managed by Acque S. p. A. and promoted by the Municipality, the project aims to replace aging asbestos-cement pipes with modern ductile iron piping to prevent frequent leaks and service disruptions.

The investment exceeds one million euros and involves laying approximately 1,300 meters of new DN 150 piping and renewing about 65 user connections. Work began in March, with 740 meters and 20 connections already completed. The final phase, located north of the railway, is expected to conclude by late October.

Local authorities have coordinated with emergency services, the municipal police, and railway personnel to ensure safe pedestrian access and the movement of emergency vehicles during construction.
