San Gregorio Matese hosts UNPLI Day to promote local heritage

San Gregorio Matese hosted an UNPLI Day event organized by the Caserta provincial committee to promote local heritage and tourism. The initiative included guided tours of the historic center led by the Pro Loco Le Mura association, focusing on the town's history and traditions.

Following the cultural tours, visitors participated in a gastronomic tasting featuring local specialties. Local officials and association leaders used the event to discuss the future of internal areas, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement, volunteerism, and the development of sustainable, slow-tourism models for small villages.
