San Ildefonso identifies seven unlicensed tourist accommodations

The City Council of San Ildefonso has identified seven tourist accommodations operating without a license. This discovery follows a request by the Izquierda Unida (IU) political group in late 2024 to investigate discrepancies between official regional records and listings found on various tourism advertising platforms.

Following coordination between municipal urban planning and tourism departments, the local government reported its findings to the Directorate General of Consumption of the Ministry of Social Rights and the Junta de Castilla y León on June 18. According to municipal records, 20 accommodations are properly licensed, seven lack a license, and four have ceased operations.
