San Isidro and UNDP partner to digitize SME administrative processes
The Municipality of San Isidro and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Argentina held a working session in Villa Ocampo to develop digital solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The initiative, part of the ‘Punto PyME’ program, aims to simplify the bureaucratic procedures required to open, expand, or relocate businesses within the district.
Led by Mayor Ramón Lanús, the event brought together local business owners, municipal officials, and international specialists to identify administrative bottlenecks. The collaboration focuses on using technology, including artificial intelligence and emerging digital tools, to streamline public services and improve the relationship between the private sector and the state.
Pablo Parola, General Director of Production, stated that the goal is to establish ‘Punto PyME’ as a single point of entry for businesses, allowing for better coordination between various municipal departments and the private sector.
