San Isidro begins second stage of Plaza Belgrano renovation

The Municipality of San Isidro has commenced the second stage of the renovation project for Plaza Belgrano in Villa Adelina. The works, which cover the area bounded by Emilio Castro, Martina Céspedes, Deán Funes, and La Calandria, are expected to be completed by late March 2027.

Planned improvements include the upgrading of football and tejo courts, the installation of calisthenics stations, a healthy station, and new play areas for early childhood. The project also features the creation of picnic and rest areas, improved lighting, new drinking fountains, and enhancements to sidewalks and drainage systems. Additionally, the plan includes landscaping, irrigation, a perimeter fence, and the construction of parking bays.

Mayor Ramón Lanús is scheduled to meet with Villa Adelina residents on November 16 at the plaza to discuss neighborhood needs and present the project's scope.
