San Isidro inaugurates tactical police base to boost security

Authorities in San Isidro have inaugurated a permanent operational base for the Tactical Immediate Operations Unit (UTOI) of the Buenos Aires Provincial Police. The facility is designed to strengthen preventive security in the neighborhoods of La Cava, Santa Rita, Uruguay, and San Cayetano.

The deployment includes 100 UTOI officers who will work in coordination with municipal patrol brigades. The unit specializes in complex tactical interventions and will conduct both static and dynamic patrols, including crime prevention and property crime controls. Operational planning is updated weekly based on local crime maps and detected issues.
