San Isidro launches startup network and local tech incentive regime

The Municipality of San Isidro has officially launched its Startup Network, an initiative designed to connect entrepreneurs, technology companies, universities, and investors to foster innovation and business opportunities within the district.

During the inaugural ‘After Tech San Isidro’ event, Mayor Ramón Lanús announced the ‘Régimen de Incentivos para la Generación de Inversiones Tecnológicas’ (RIGI-TEC). This local incentive regime aims to attract companies within the knowledge economy by offering tax benefits, including municipal rate discounts.

Pablo Parola, the municipal Director General of Production, stated that the network is intended to be a permanent community that facilitates ongoing connections between innovators and those who can provide financing, infrastructure, or commercial opportunities.
