San Javier to host UNVEX 2026 unmanned systems conference

The UNVEX 2026 conference will take place on September 16 and 17 at the former civil airport in San Javier, Murcia. The event serves as a professional gathering for the unmanned systems community, bringing together defense and security industries, armed forces, and public agencies.

Moving away from traditional fairground formats, the event will utilize the airport grounds to host outdoor operational demonstrations. These live displays aim to show the real-world capabilities of various unmanned platforms, autonomous systems, and anti-drone technologies in environments suitable for testing.

The program will address the evolution of drone technology in both military and civilian sectors, including applications for critical infrastructure protection, public safety, emergency services, and search and rescue. Key topics include hybrid warfare lessons, manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T), and mixed swarms.
