San José de Ocoa lawyer killed in stabbing incident

A 34-year-old lawyer, Leídy Soto Cáceres, was killed on Tuesday afternoon in the Los Maestros sector of San José de Ocoa after being stabbed with a knife. The victim, a mother of four, was reportedly taken to San José Hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities have arrested 20-year-old Adriana Cuello Minyety in connection with the attack. Preliminary reports suggest the incident may have been motivated by personal or passionate reasons. The victim's father has called for an exhaustive investigation, noting that his daughter had received a phone call inviting her to the location where the incident occurred.
