San Jose Earthquakes clinch playoffs with 1-1 draw against Nashville SC

The San Jose Earthquakes secured a 1-1 draw against Nashville SC at PayPal Park, a result that extends their unbeaten streak to nine matches and officially clinches a playoff spot for the team.

Hany Mukhtar opened the scoring for Nashville SC in the 34th minute, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. San Jose responded in the 70th minute when Preston Judd scored an equalizing goal with a header following an assist from Eduard Löwen.
