San Jose hosts 30th anniversary of Bark in the Park dog festival

San Jose will host the 30th anniversary of Bark in the Park on September 19, 2026, at William Street Park. As Northern California’s largest dog festival, the event expects to attract over 5,000 attendees and 2,000 dogs.

Proceeds from the festival support local organizations, including the Humane Society Silicon Valley, the San Jose Animal Care Center, and the Campus Community Neighborhood Association. Event highlights include a wellness clinic providing on-site vaccines, agility demonstrations, and various contests such as a dog-costume and tail-wagging competition.
