San Jose woman arrested for stalking and hate crimes

A 47-year-old woman has been arrested in San Jose on suspicion of stalking and hate crimes following a series of incidents involving harassment and discriminatory behavior.

The arrest follows a viral video in which the woman confronted a father and his 6-year-old daughter in the Almaden neighborhood. In the footage, she accused the man of sex-trafficking the child because their skin tones did not match, despite the father explaining the child is half-white. The woman also falsely claimed to be working with federal authorities during the encounter.

In addition to the confrontation, the San Jose Unified School District notified the community that the woman has been recording and photographing students and staff. Reports indicate she allegedly entered a high school locker room to film and has posted content involving right-wing rhetoric and accusations against PE teachers. San Jose police are investigating these incidents as part of a broader inquiry.
