San Juan del Río budget could reach 2 billion pesos by 2027

Roberto Cabrera Valencia, the municipal president of San Juan del Río, stated that the city's budget for 2027 could approach 2 billion pesos. This projection depends on tax collection maintaining its recent performance.

The current 2026 budget exceeds 1.7 billion pesos. Preliminary estimates for the current fiscal year's closing suggest a range between 1.8 billion and 1.85 billion pesos. A formal proposal for the 2027 budget will be presented to the Council in December once finance projections are finalized.
