San Juan del Río families benefit from PAE economic program

The Family Economy Support Program (PAE) has benefited 850 families in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, between 2025 and the beginning of 2026. The initiative, led by the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), aims to strengthen productive activities and improve household incomes through tools and support for small-scale businesses.

Beneficiaries include small merchants, local tenants, and taxi drivers. Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, head of SEDESU, emphasized that coordination between the state government and the municipality of San Juan del Río creates opportunities for small entrepreneurs to increase productivity and consolidate their businesses.

San Juan del Río Mayor Roberto Cabrera Valencia noted that the integration of small businesses strengthens local economic capacities and generates growth opportunities. Tania Ruiz Castro, Director of Regional Projects for the State Government, stated that the certificates issued represent recognition of the work performed by residents to sustain their productive activities and support their families.
