San Juan del Río holds community service day in Visthá

The municipal government of San Juan del Río conducted the 65th edition of its ‘Miércoles en Visthá’ program, a community outreach initiative in the Visthá locality. Led by Mayor Roberto Cabrera Valencia, the event facilitated dialogue between local leaders and citizens to address community needs.

During the session, municipal departments processed approximately 210 requests through various working tables. Key actions included public works such as repainting 10 speed bumps and installing four preventive signs. Environmental efforts involved the donation of trees and clothing, while social development services included the rehabilitation of public spaces and the distribution of food items like tomatoes.

Additional services provided during the day included a visual health campaign, registration for low-cost products, and animal welfare services, specifically the administration of rabies vaccines for dogs and cats. Various municipal secretariats, including Public Works, Social Development, and Public Services, participated in the coordinated effort to strengthen communication between the government and the community.
