San Juan del Río mayor Roberto Cabrera Valencia appoints new municipal secretary and leads community outreach

Mayor Roberto Cabrera Valencia of San Juan del Río, Querétaro, swore in Miguel Ángel Jiménez Evangelista as the new secretary of the municipal council after a unanimous vote by council members. The appointment was made in an extraordinary cabildo session held in the historic town hall.

Later, Cabrera Valencia headed the 53rd edition of the "Lunes en comunidades" program in the Guadalupe de Las Peñas neighborhood. Municipal officials processed 115 citizen requests, painted twelve speed‑reduction signs, conducted a visual‑health campaign, distributed donated clothing and trees, and refurbished the local primary school with new paint and supplies.
