San Juan dominates Argentino de Pista track cycling championship

The San Juan delegation dominated the Argentino de Pista track cycling championship held in Rafaela, Santa Fe. The province secured first place in the final medal tally with a total of 31 medals, consisting of 12 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze.

Key performers included Tomás Saavedra Zalazar, who earned four gold medals in individual sprint, 500 meters, points race, and Olympic sprint. In the women's categories, Joselín Contreras Tivani won two gold medals in the 500 meters and keirin, along with a bronze in the Olympic sprint. Other notable winners included Dominique Aguilar Zárate, Lautaro Naranjo Vargas, and Lisandro Chávez Carrizo.

San Juan significantly outperformed other competing provinces, including San Luis, which earned 14 medals, and ACCOS (Centro-Oeste de Santa Fe), which secured 10 medals.
