San Juan expands tourism with new JetSMART flights and aviation events

San Juan is expanding its tourism and aviation offerings through new flight connections and community events. The provincial government announced that JetSMART will launch new low-cost flight frequencies to coincide with the start of the Fiesta Nacional del Sol (FNS) on November 19, 2026. This strategic timing aims to boost visitor numbers during the festival held at the Estadio San Juan del Bicentenario.

In addition to improved connectivity, the Aeroclub San Juan has scheduled an open house for August 23. Originally planned for August 17, the event was rescheduled due to weather conditions. The day will feature various aviation activities, including baptism flights, glider flights, parachute jumps, and aeromodelling, alongside a gastronomic area and artisan fairs to provide a family-oriented experience.
