San Juan del Río receives agricultural and social support

In San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Governor Mauricio Kuri González delivered support to 579 agricultural producers. The assistance was distributed through two main initiatives: the ‘Dinamismo Agroalimentario’ program, which benefited 164 producers, and the ‘Programa de Atención a Contingencias del Sector Agroalimentario’, which provided seeds for forage crops to 415 producers.

Kuri González emphasized that state support aims to provide tools, equipment, and technology to strengthen the sector and boost local economies. The Secretary of Agricultural Development, Rosendo Anaya Aguilar, noted that these programs address challenges such as climate change, droughts, and rising production costs.

Additionally, Luis Nava, the State Secretary of Social Development, presented the results of the Fifth Government Report to local families. He highlighted various social programs, including ‘Clubes del Adulto Mayor’, ‘Contigo y tu Bebé’, and ‘Contigo en tu Mesa’, as well as ‘Contigo sin Fronteras’, which assists families with reunification processes involving relatives in the United States.
