San Juan Province completes road demarcation on Avenida Libertador

The final phase of the comprehensive renovation of Avenida Libertador General San Martín in San Juan Province has been completed. Workers finished horizontal road marking and signage, including painted central boulevard curbs, lane delimitations, shoulder markings, and pedestrian crossings with red‑background and white‑stripe designs. At major signalized intersections, new pedestrian pathways and yellow grid markings were added to improve driver awareness.

The project, which began in 2025, also involved full resurfacing, replacement of deteriorated concrete slabs, base reinforcement, and the first use of asphalt geogrids to extend pavement life. The upgrades aim to enhance traffic safety and durability on one of the city’s most heavily used corridors.
