San Juan Province launches extensive winter holiday program for families
The Government of San Juan, together with private partners, unveiled a month‑long agenda of cultural, recreational, environmental and tourism activities for July 2026. The program includes children’s theatre productions at Teatro Sarmiento, concerts at the Teatro del Bicentenario, a new edition of the Festival DivertiTeS – Invierno, free tours at natural sites such as Difunta Correa and Anchipurac, and sustainable‑tourism experiences in Lomas de las Tapias and the Parque Faunístico.
Additional highlights are a marathon with routes starting at Dique Punta Negra, the Pumas rugby match against Wales, an astroparty with astronomical observation, an accessible‑tourism event “San Juan sin Barreras” at Ischigualasto, and a series of fairs for entrepreneurs, gastronomy and environmental awareness. Promotional discounts on accommodation and dining are also offered throughout the month.
