San Juan province rolls out mobile service in Jáchal as city starts road repaving
The provincial government’s mobile "San Juan Cercac" program will operate in the Jáchal department on 13‑14 August, bringing direct access to state services. Minister of Family and Human Development Carlos Platero said the mission will issue identity documents, SUBE cards and other assistance to residents, aiming to reduce bureaucratic barriers in remote areas.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of San Juan City has scheduled road works for Friday, 7 August. Works include repaving on Laprida between Catamarca and Sarmiento, bacheo on Rivadavia between Riojay and Jujuy, and demolition of deteriorated slabs on Maipú. Partial traffic closures lasting about four hours are expected, and motorists are urged to follow signage and use alternative routes.
Both initiatives are part of local authorities’ efforts to improve public services and urban infrastructure for residents of the province.
