San Lazzaro di Savena joins Race for the Cure Bologna

The municipality of San Lazzaro di Savena is participating in the 20th edition of the Race for the Cure Bologna, a non-competitive walk dedicated to fighting breast cancer and supporting affected women. Organized by the Susan Komen Association, the event is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, starting at 10:00 AM from Giardini Margherita in Bologna.

Mayor Marilena Pillati is leading a community team named ‘Comune di S. Lazzaro di Savena,’ which is open to all citizens, associations, and groups. The initiative aims to promote solidarity, cancer prevention, and research. Welfare Councilor Marina Malpensa is also participating and has invited the local community to join the team through the official Race for the Cure website.
