San Lazzaro to host Activestills photography exhibition

The photography exhibition ‘Ancora Brucia’ is set to open in San Lazzaro on October 17. Produced by Activestills, the project features images captured in Palestine since 2005, focusing on themes of war, death, displacement, and destruction.

Unlike traditional gallery exhibitions, this is a distributed street exhibition that utilizes the city’s urban landscape, including streets, intersections, facades, and pedestrian crossings, as a narrative sequence. The installation is designed to encounter passersby in their daily routines. To assist with navigation, each photographic panel includes a QR code that, when scanned, opens a map of San Lazzaro to guide viewers to the other locations in the series.
