San Leone Council Seeks Plan for Summer Village Event and Traffic Management

Councilor Geraldo Alongi submitted an urgent written interrogation to the Agrigento municipal administration asking for a comprehensive strategy for the San Leone beachfront area. He referenced the upcoming “Summer Village 2026” event and highlighted ongoing issues such as irregular parking, traffic congestion, public‑space usage, and urban décor, especially around the port.

Alongi’s six questions request clarification on whether the Summer Village is part of a broader tourism‑relaunch plan, the city’s approach to mobility, parking solutions (including a possible automated garage), safety measures, and steps to curb illegal parking. He also asked for a written response within the council’s regulatory time‑frame.
