Italian towns roll out major sports facility upgrades
San Lorenzo in Campo (Italy) opened a renovated multi‑purpose sports track on Via Molino after a €120,000 investment focused on accessibility, safety and energy efficiency.
In Bari, work began on the Michele Fazio futsal fields along the Imperatore Augusto promenade, funded by a Deloitte sponsorship of over €100,000 to replace turf, install new fences and upgrade lighting, honoring a young anti‑mafia victim.
Alba inaugurated a newly greened public square on Corso Piave 85, spending about €130,000 to add a small sports zone, playground equipment, benches, landscaping and improved pedestrian links.
Treviso started a restyling of the historic Tenni stadium, launching demolition of the south lateral stand and upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems to meet Serie C requirements, with work carried out by Brussi Costruzioni.
In Inverigo, the municipal gym on Via Monte Barro received a €100,000 refurbishment, including a complete parquet replacement, new equipment and modernised referee stations, part of a broader €350,000 investment in local sports venues.
