San Lorenzo in Campo mayor receives death threats and bomb warnings

Davide Dellonti, the mayor of San Lorenzo in Campo in the Pesaro-Urbino province, has reported death threats and intimidation to the Carabinieri. The threats were delivered via letters sent to both his private residence and the municipal offices.

According to reports, the correspondence contains extremely serious content, including threats against the mayor's personal safety and a specific threat to blow up the town hall. Investigators are currently working to identify the author of the letters, determine the motive, and assess whether there is a concrete criminal intent or if the actions are purely intended for intimidation.

Francesco Battistoni, a deputy and regional secretary for Forza Italia, expressed solidarity with the mayor, describing the incident as a “cowardly gesture” intended to cause unrest and obstruct administrative activities.
