San Lorenzo to debut commemorative jersey honoring club roots

San Lorenzo de Almagro is set to debut a special commemorative jersey during its upcoming match against Unión de Santa Fe. The limited-edition kit serves as a tribute to ‘Los Forzosos de Almagro’, a legendary group of local youths who played football in the Boedo neighborhood at the beginning of the 20th century.

The design aims to honor the club’s grassroots origins and the amateur era that preceded its formal foundation on April 1, 1908. The initiative is part of an institutional effort to connect newer generations of supporters with the club’s historical identity.
