San Luis government reaches milestone in home deed program

Governor Claudio Poggi announced that the ‘Escriturá Tu Casa’ program has surpassed 7,500 processed and delivered property deeds to families living in social housing across the province. The initiative was designed to address structural deficiencies in state agencies that previously made the administrative process for obtaining deeds dense and expensive.

To facilitate the program, the government reorganized various departments, including Housing, the Real Estate Registry, Cadastre, and the Government Notary's Office, to reduce bureaucratic barriers. Additionally, the administration eliminated a previous 30% fee and established an agreement with the College of Notaries to reduce deed costs to one-third of the minimum professional fees.
