San Luis hosts 2nd Regional Congress of Women in Security Forces

The province of San Luis hosted the 2nd Regional Congress of Women in Security Forces, bringing together more than 200 women from various provincial and national institutions. Participants included representatives from the police and penitentiary services of San Luis, San Juan, Mendoza, and Córdoba, as well as members of the Argentine Army, the Federal Police of Argentina, and the National Gendarmerie.

The congress aimed to promote equal opportunities, professional training, leadership, and institutional cooperation. It focused on highlighting the contributions of women to public security, crisis management, and institutional leadership, while fostering an organizational culture based on merit, innovation, and human rights. The event took place during the National Day of the Women Police Officer.

Key attendees included San Luis Security Minister Nancy Sosa, Mendoza Vice Governor Hebe Casado, and San Juan Security Undersecretary Sandra Chamorro. The next edition of the congress is scheduled to be held in San Juan.
