San Luis launches entrepreneurship programs and training scholarships

The government of San Luis has launched the third edition of the ‘Mi Próximo Paso’ (MiPro) program, alongside the ‘Mi Primer Emprendimiento’ (MiPre) initiative to support local entrepreneurs. During an event in Villa Mercedes, Governor Claudio Poggi announced a new training scholarship of 250,000 pesos per project.

This scholarship is designed to support participants in the MiPre program for up to eight months. To qualify, projects must consist of two members, at least one of whom must lack formal income. Beneficiaries are required to complete six virtual classes and one in-person session, as well as develop a business plan that undergoes evaluation.

Minister of Sustainable Productive Development Federico Trombotto stated that there is no maximum quota for beneficiaries, provided they meet the requirements. Applications for the program are open until October 28, with the first payments expected to begin in December.
