San Luis launches fifth edition of ‘Activá tu Huerta’ program

The Government of San Luis, through the Ministry of Sustainable Productive Development, is launching the fifth edition of the ‘Activá tu Huerta’ program. This initiative aims to support families and small-scale producers in establishing vegetable gardens for the spring-summer season.

A new component for this edition includes a training program and the distribution of fruit trees across various locations in the province. To receive seed kits and fruit trees, participants must attend the mandatory training sessions. No prior registration is required; interested individuals can sign up directly at the scheduled meeting sites.

The program is a collaborative effort between the provincial government, the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), and local municipalities. INTA will primarily provide technical advisory services. The first week of activities is scheduled for September 1 and September 3, with sessions held in Villa Mercedes at the former Lanín factory and in San Luis at the former Colonia Hogar.
