San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas Boost Tourism and Local Business
The government of San Luis Potosí, led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, has opened applications for merchants, entrepreneurs and service providers to secure spaces at the Feria Nacional Potosina scheduled for 2026. The fair, expected to draw thousands of national and international visitors, is promoted as a platform for regional economic growth and business development.
In Zacatecas, Governor David Monreal Ávila’s administration conducted a free training course for 30 tourism operators in the Pueblo Mágico of Jerez. The program aimed to improve service quality, standardize certification and better showcase the town’s historic and cultural assets, reinforcing the state’s broader strategy to professionalize and enhance its tourism sector.
