San Luis Potosí opens calls for artisans to join FENAPO 2026 pavilion
The state government of San Luis Potosí, led by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, announced a call for artisans, traditional healers and agro‑producers to participate in the Artisan Pavilion of the Feria Nacional Potosina (FENAPO) 2026. Applications are accepted until 17 July 2026 and require registration with the State Artisan Registry and proof of product authenticity.
The initiative seeks to broaden market access for handcrafted goods from the state’s four regions, promote direct contact between producers and consumers, and support a “no‑bargaining” policy. Priority will be given to participants from indigenous communities, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Mario García Valdez, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco), said the programme aims to boost the regional economy while preserving cultural identity. Interested parties can pre‑register and review requirements on the Sedeco website.
