San Luis Potosí authorities arrest mother and stepfather in Puerto Vallarta

Authorities in San Luis Potosí have arrested a woman and a man, identified as the mother and stepfather of a minor, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The pair is accused of the attempted feminicide and aggravated family violence of a young girl.

The investigation began after the minor was admitted to a hospital in the San Luis Potosí metropolitan area with severe injuries, including multiple bruises and burns. Following the discovery of these injuries, an arrest warrant was issued.

The suspects reportedly fled San Luis Potosí to seek refuge in Puerto Vallarta after learning they were being sought by law enforcement. With the assistance of the Jalisco Prosecutor's Office, investigators located and detained the pair, who have since been transported back to San Luis Potosí to face judicial authorities.
