San Luis Potosí electoral council investigates two early‑campaign complaints

The State Electoral and Citizen Participation Council (CEEPAC) in San Luis Potosí has received two formal complaints alleging anticipatory campaign activities. Council president Paloma Blanco López said the cases are now being examined by the council’s legal department.

One complaint concerns actions in the Huasteca region, while the second relates to a local matter. Blanco López noted that sanctions will depend on the findings and on the stage of the electoral calendar, ranging from administrative penalties to possible disqualification from future elections, especially for individuals on debt‑or violence‑related registers.
