San Luis Potosí government coordinates electoral reforms ahead of 2027 elections

The executive branch of the state of San Luis Potosí held a work‑meeting with legislative leaders and electoral authorities to discuss reforms to the state electoral law in preparation for the 2027 elections. A separate coordination meeting for the upcoming Fenapo fair (August 7‑30) involved federal, state and local security agencies but did not include officials from the San Luis Potosí municipal government, raising questions about municipal participation in security and logistics for the event held within the city’s jurisdiction.
